Barbara Lee Gordon is the daughter of James Gordon and Barbara Kean, the adoptive daughter of Lee Thompkins, and the show's incarnation of Batgirl.
History[]
Barbara Lee Gordon was born during Nyssa al Ghul's attack on Gotham City, but remained nameless throughout her debut. Eventually, Barbar Kean named her and Jim's daughter after herself and Leslee Thompkins, two people who would be there for Barbara no matter what.
In the epilogue, Lee, Barbara Kean and Jim all share custody of Barbara.
As a child, Barbara was abducted by "J" (previously Jerome Valaska). However, she and her father were saved by Batman. As soon as Jim pulled Barbara up to safety, he hugged his daughter and told Barbara Lee that they were saved by "a friend."
