Albert "Al" Rothstein is a fictional superhero from DC Comics. He has the power of growth and immense super strength. He was created by Roy Thomas and Jerry Ordway and debuted in All-Star Squadron #25. (1983). He was later re-introduced as Atom Smasher by James Robinson, David S. Goyer and Steve Sadowski, debuting in JSA Secret Files and Origins #1. (1999)

Atom Smasher made his first live action appearance on the second season of The Flash played by Adam Copeland. The character will make his cinematic debut in 2022's Black Adam portrayed by Noah Centineo set in the DC Extended Universe.
