Background[]
Athena is the favorite daughter of Zeus and Metis. In mythology, she was born from being sprung out of her father's head and was fully grown.
She became the goddess of wisdom, handicraft, and warfare. On several occasions, Athena cursed multiple people. One of them was Arachne, a mortal who boasted she was a better weaver than the goddess. After Athena won the contest, she turned Arachne into a spider. In the remake, Athena was also the one to curse Medusa after learning her uncle and rival Poseidon made love in her temple. Feeling nothing but disgust, Athena turned her into a Gorgon.
Personality[]
Athena was the least wrathful of the Gods, as her punishments weren't as harsh. For example she blinded one man who accidentally saw her bathing, Tiresias . However, she gave him the ability to see into the future.
