Arcee is an Autobot from the Generation continuity. She is one of the main characters of the 1986 film, The Transformers: The Movie. She is one of the protagonists of the Generation 1 era of The Transformers franchise. In the series, she became best friends with Spike Witwicky 's son, Daniel , viewing him as if he were her own son. Before the war, she was a former Autobot scout on Cybertron and a follower of Optimus Prime .
In Transformers: Beast Wars , Arcee is said to be the great aunt of Rattrap. She has also appeared in several comic book crossovers including Transformers / My Little Pony .
