Arcee is an Autobot from the Generation continuity. She is one of the main characters of the 1986 film, The Transformers: The Movie. She is one of the protagonists of the Generation 1 era of The Transformers franchise. In the series, she became best friends with Spike Witwicky's son, Daniel, viewing him as if he were her own son. Before the war, she was a former Autobot scout on Cybertron and a follower of Optimus Prime.

In Transformers: Beast Wars, Arcee is said to be the great aunt of Rattrap. She has also appeared in several comic book crossovers including Transformers / My Little Pony.
