April O'Neil is the deuteragonist of Paramount's 2014 The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and the tritagonist of its 2016 sequel, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows.
She is the best friend of the Turtles and their closest human ally who has known about them since her father created them. At the end of the film, she is the girlfriend of Casey Jones.
