April O'Neil is one of the main protagonists of the 1987 cartoon incarnation of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

She is the human ally of the titular turtles who is also their surrogate sister and one of the few incarnations of April who does not have a romance relationship with Casey Jones.
