He is the Greek god of Archery, Art, Music and Poetry, Prophecy, Light and the Sun, Healing and Plagues, Truth who is one of the sons of Zeus and the twin brother of Artemis, both collectively known as the "Archer Twins," He debuts in the Percy Jackson novel The Titan's Curse, meeting Percy for the first time. After failing to foresee the return of Gaia, he was punished by Zeus by losing his immortality and forced into human form Lester Papadopolous.
