Annabeth Chase is the tritagonist of the 2010 film adaptation of the Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief and its 2013 sequel Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters. She is the demigod daughter of Athena, the love interest of Percy Jackson and one of the best friends of Grover Underwood. Initially. Annabeth disliked Percy because their parents, Athena and Poseidon were rivals but became one of his closest friends over the course of the film.
