Amy Rose, (also formerly known as Rosy the Rascal), is one of the two tritagonists (alongside Knuckles) of the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise. She is the self-proclaimed girlfriend of Sonic the Hedgehog since meeting him on Little Planet and best friend of Cream the Rabbit. Despite being hot-tempered like Knuckles, Amy has a pure and noble heart and is also the leader of her own team, Team Rose. She also wields a Piko Piko Hammer and has erratic, eccentric behavior.
She is one of the most recurring female characters in the series alongside her rival Rouge the Bat.
Biography[]
Amy Rose was presumably obsessed with Sonic the Hedgehog even before they met. When Sonic finally came to her island, Amy was immediately swooning over him. Before this, her obsession was born when she consulted tarot cards (as Amy loved anything to do with mystical practices or fortunes). They told her she was destined to be with Sonic when they met on the little planet. Excited she rushed over to Never Lake so she could meet. However, during his adventure there, Amy Rose was captured by Dr Eggman's Creation Metal Sonic before Sonic managed to save her. He couldn't bring himself to reciprocate her romantic advances.
While she would try to become a part of Sonic's inner circle, it would not be until Eggman attacked Station Square that Amy was able to become part of the main cast of the Sonic the Hedgehog series.
Personality[]
Amy Rose is an anthropomorphic, hammer-wielding hedgehog with a noble heart. Whenever she is aggravated she uses her Pico Pico hammer to defeat her enemies and will do anything to protect her friends and the world. She is also a bit eccentric, claiming to be Sonic's girlfriend (even though it's clear that they genuinely care about each other. Whenever she insists they go past beyond friendship, even to the point where Amy asks him to marry her, Sonic always runs away.
While she is generally an optimistic and cheerful person, Amy Rose is still a force to be reckoned with.
Appearance[]
Amy is a cute small pink anthropomorphic hedgehog with green eyes and pink quills. She wields the Piko Piko Hammer, a powerful melee weapon that she uses with skills second to none and never leaves home without.
In the modern day and age, Amy mostly wears a sleeveless red dress with a short skirt embroidered with a white stripe at the bottom. white gloves, red boots with white straps, and golden bracelets.

- Whenever she is fighting, Amy spins around to jump, dash, and attack her enemies. Amy also utilized hammer jumps, smashes, and swings. Apart from Her hammer, Amy blows a kiss, and releases storming hearts, which usually form in a whirlwind of hearts and wraps around her opponents. Her other attacks include the Jump Attack, tornado, and propeller hammer, generate air tornadoes and pink typhoons, Air Gif, Double and tornado jump, Tarot Draw, Low Blow, Jump Attack, Humming Top, and Mystic Melody.
