Amaya Jiwe is a major character in DC's Legends of Tomorrow . Initially a member of the Justice Society of America, Amaya was a member of the Legends during seasons 2 and 3, a group of time traveling superheroes protecting the timeline. She joined the team to avenge her lover, Rex Tyler/Hourman, who was killed by Eobard Thawne. As the Vigilante, Vixen , she can call upon the life forces of an animal from the Anansi Totem and gain it's abilities.
However, she left after staying back in 1942, in order for her granddaughters Mari and Kuasa to be born to protect the village of Zambesi save the individuals from Ray's time in the twenty first century.
