Alura Zor-El (previously Alura In-Ze) is fictional character from Superman and Supergirl franchise published by the American publishing company book franchise, DC Comics. She is the wife of Zor-El, the biological mother of Supergirl and the aunt of Superman.

She has appeared as a supporting character in the CW series Supergirl. In the first two seasons, she was portrayed by Laura Benanti and in season 3 and 5, she is portrayed by Erica Durance. A significant difference between the comic book character and the Arrowverse character is she has a twin sister, Astra, who was created for the series. She also survived due to living underneath a preservation shield that was pulled over Argo City by her husband. Also instead of being a scientist like she is in the comics, allura of Earth 38 is not a scientist but a judicator (judge on Krypton)
