Allison Argent and Lydia Martin is one of the main relationships of the first three seasons of Teen Wolf.
Throughout the Series[]
Allison and Lydia were immediately friends after the latter asked Allison about her designer bag. Even though it was for the sake of popularity, Lydia and Allison both learned to care for each other. Along with Scott and Stiles, it was Allison's friendship that was one of the reasons why Lydia started embracing herself and not pretending to be an airhead. Allison helped Lydia as her Banshee abilities developed and they aided Scott and Stiles in fighting off numerous human and supernatural threats until Allison tragically died at the hands of an Oni demon under the Nogitsune's control, with Lydia unleashing a heartbreaking Banshee wail in response.
Though Allison was no longer present, Lydia continued to honor her best friend's memory by aiding Scott and their packmates in continuing to defend their hometown from numerous threats. Under the tutelage of Hellhound Jordan Parrish, Lydia learned how to fight like Allison in order to defend herself in times when the pack was unable to come to her in time.
Teen Wolf: The Movie[]
In 2026, Lydia's Banshee powers activated, and she unwittingly used automatic wiring to write Allison's name on her brochures for her colleagues. It turns out Lydia never got over her best friend's death. Soon same realized her vest friend's spirit was in "in trouble" when she put the pictures together to form an image of the Nemeton. She reunited with Scott McCall, Malia Tate, and Chris Argent to perform a ritual that would surely let Allison's spirit move on in Bardo. However, the Nogitsune possessed Argent, as the ritual that Lydia and her pack participated in brought Allison back to life. Although she hunted down the Beacon Hills Werewolves under the manipulation of the Nogitsune, Lydia unleashed a Banshee scream in the form of Allison's name that fully restored her memories. After the Nogitsune and the Oni were destroyed for good, the two best friends reunited and shared a hug before going their separate ways, with Lydia continuing her career as a businesswoman and Allison moving to Los Angeles and becoming Scott's assistant in his animal shelter.
Other Information[]
The relationship is meant to be a parallel to Sciles, where Lydia is the Stiles to Allison's Scott, making them as close as sisters.
