Wolf Moon[]
During Lydia and Jackson's party at the Martin Manor, Allison and Scott are being watched by Derek Hale, who is keeping his eye on Scott, who is now a newly bitten werewolf. After he begins feeling the effects of the full moon, Scott has a panic attack and quickly gets to his mother's car and ditched a confused Allison at the party. Derek approached her and introduced himself as a friend of Scott's, offering her a ride home. Stiles, worried about Allison, quickly drove to her house and knockes on her door, but her mother Victoria answered it. The woman was confused and called for Allison, who suddenly appeared on the steps and wondered why Stiles was there. The boy was taken back and realized that Derek never touched or harmed Allison in any way. However, he took her jacket and left it on a tree branch, successfully luring Scott into the woods; Derek told Scott that he was keeping Allison safe from him. (However due to Derek's hatred towards the Argents, he likely did it more for their sake than hers.
Second Chance at the First Line[]
After Derek threatened to kill Scott if he Play lacrosse that Friday Night, he later left Allison's jacket at her locker, as a warning that Derek was watching her. Allison assumed that Lydia found it at her house and secretly returned it to her. When Scott and Allison talked again, she assumed Derek was Scott's friend but the young werewolf vehemently claimed that Derek was not. He suddenly noticed the jacket rolled around her arm and Scott realized Derek was apparently threatening them both. After school, Scott confronted the older werewolf at the Hale House and expressively told Derek to leave Allison alone. However, Derek pointed out that Scott didn't understand he was looking out for him and even added that Scott could lose control on Allison and they would all be discovered by the Hunters.
After this, Scott and Stiles found Laura Hale's corpse buried under a vengeance spiral and called the sheriff's department on him in case Derek would try something. However, Scott had a moment of doubt that this was a good idea.
Pack Mentality[]
After Scott has a recurring nightmare of him attacking Allison after making out at the school buses, Scott was having real memories of him trying to stop the Alpha from attacking one of the bus drivers Mr Myers. However, with no one else to turn to, Scott approached Derek, asking him how he could remember the attack. Despite him insisting that he was trying to protecting people, Derek knew that Scott was actually asking about how could avoid hurting Allison.
Magic Bullet[]
At the school parking lot, there was suddenly a traffic jam. In truth, Stiles and Scott held up the cars helping Derek, who was shot with a wolf bane bullet, after he collapsed in front of the Stilinski Jeep. Annoyed and curious, Allison stepped out of her car and saw Scott keeping Derek get into Stiles' car. The duo drove away and Allison suspiciously asked Scott what Derek was doing there and why they were helping him. Scott claimed that Stiles was just giving Derek a ride, which Allison found odd because Scott had told her that he and Derek were not friends and barely knew each other. After Derek was fully healed of his bullet wound, he took Scott to see his point that Allison and her family were a danger. Scott was horrified to see that Derek's uncle Peter was severely burned from the Hale family fire. The older werewolf warned the younger werewolf that Allison's family did this and much worse to their kind and something she 'will do' one day. The boys soon leave when Nurse Jennifer kicks them out.
Heart Monitor[]
On their first night of training, Derek easily found Scott when his phone rang, with Allison calling him. He continued to berate Scott because Derek believed that relationships were a distraction right now. He insisted to Scott to spend time away from Allison until the next full moon. However, Scott disobeyed Derek and secretly snuck into Allison's bedroom, where the two were beginning to make out. Scott continued to heed Derek's morning to stay away from Allison after being stalked and cornered by the Alpha until Stiles realized that Allison was Scott's anchor.
Night School/Lunatic[]
As Scott, Stiles, Lydia, Allison and Jackson are trapped in the high school at night by Peter, Scott, under pressure, told his friends and Jackson that Derek was the killer behind the werewolf attacks. This was the final straw for Allison who decided to break up with Scott because she could tell that he wasn't being honest with her.
In "Lunatic," Kate was teaching Allison how to handle a taser by assaulting one of her teddy bears. Finally, Allison finally broke down to her aunt that she was still not over her break up with Scott and blurted out that Derek was partially the reason they broke up. Suspicious, Kate demanded that Allison told her everything Scott said about Derek as the older huntress was trying to figure out the relationship between the two Werewolves. Later that night, Allison met up with Jackson and she voiced her suspicion that Derek was not the person at the school. To her Surprise Jackson didn't think so either and told her his experiences with shadowy figure he met in the video store and the school. It's only thing he remembered was the shadowy figure suddenly getting down on all four paws and running out of the video store.
Co-Captains[]
Derek helped his uncle Peter (now revealed as the Alpha) corner Scott in the school's locker room. As Peter told Scott about his plan for revenge, he promised Scott that his girlfriend would not be marked as part of his vendetta cast. Derek, who took Peter's side in this after the uncle insisted killing Laura was an "accident", specifically mentioned Allison's name and gave Scott a pointed look that joining Peter meant he could save his girlfriend.
