I'm not... fearless. I'm terrified. I'm always terrified. I-I act like I know what I'm doing, but I don't. I don't know if Isaac is dying right now. I don't know if I made a mistake with Scott. I don't know what my dad is thinking. I don't know if we should trust Derek. I don't know... I don't know anything!
~ Allison breaking down to Noah Stilinski how she truly feels
It's okay. It's okay. It's perfect. I'm in the arms of my first love. The first person I ever loved. The person I'll always love. I love you, Scott. Scott McCall.
~ A dying Allison Argent professes her undying love to Scott McCall
We're going to have a new code. Nous protègeons ceux qui ne peuvent pas se protèger eux-měmes.
~ Allison Argent to Chris Argent, changing the hunter code

Allison Argent is a major protagonist of the MTV supernatural drama series Teen Wolf and the deuteragonist of the 2023 revival film Teen Wolf: The Movie and a posthumous character in subsequent seasons.

She is the girlfriend of Scott McCall and the daughter of Chris Argent. In later seasons, she learned that her family were a family of werewolf hunters. However, Allison convinced her father to change their code. She uses her newfound heritage to protect innocents, has a romantic life with Scott, and one of Eli Hale's guardians.

History[]

Season 1[]

On the Argents' return to Beacon Hills, Allison and her family had just moved into their house. On the night before her first day at school, Allison was in the car with her mom, Victoria driving. She voices her frustrations about her dad working so late at night Due to not yet knowing the existence of the supernatural, Victoria explained to Allison that her dad was a weapon's arm dealer, which required him to work odd hours throughout the year. Allison says that it is weird that her dad sneaks off in the middle of the night with a duffel bag filled with automatic weapons. However, a panicked Allison yells at Victoria when she sees someone running out of the woods. Victoria swerves around, much to her horror and confusion.

As Allison chastises her mother, Victoria insists she didn't see him. Insisting that the boy is hurt, Allison tells her mother to turn around. When the Argents return to the sight, the boy is gone. Allison rushes into the woods, ignoring Victoria's shouts for her. She finds the boy's inhaler where he dropped it on the ground. Victoria, fearful of the Alpha lurking around in the woods, quickly rushes out into the woods. She throws the boy's inhaler on the ground and Victoria ushers her back to the car.

Season 2[]

Season 3[]

Legacy[]

Season 4[]

Despite Allison's death, her presence remains among her family and friends. This is especially hard for her boyfriend Scott McCall, her dad, Lydia, and Stiles, who are haunted by his time sad the Nogitsune and believe himself to be indirectly responsible for Allison's murder.

In the fourth season, when the pack is captured by the Calavera family, both Stiles and Lydia are told by Araya Calavera that the new Moon is a Time of mourning. The two were forced to relive the moment Allison died at the hands of the Oni. Her name was the keyword to decode the first third of the Deadpool hit list ("The Benefactor")

In the second half of Season 4, Meredith Walker was revealed to be the mysterious "Benefactor." She tells Lydia that she started her Dead Pool after sensing Allison's death and hearing Lydia's Scream her name. Chris, meanwhile, still grieves for his daughter's death and almost gives up when Peter Hale wounds him to prevent Argent from warning Scott and his pack. However, Parrish, even though he never really got the chance to know Allison, knows from the way her friends describe her that she would want her father to save them.

During the final two episodes, Allison's Aunt Kate is revealed to be alive and her transformation into a Werejaguar was triggered after being killed by Peter Hale. She reveals that she wants vengeance on Scott McCall and his pack for Allison's death by turning Scott into one of her Berserkers. However, her plan fails when Liam Dunbar breaks Scott out of the berserker's control and Scott defeats Peter Hale for attempting to steal his powers and putting his friends in danger. During a final confrontation between her and her brother, Argent realizes his sister is beyond saving and angrily tells Kate that Allison died protecting her friends.

Season 5[]

At the senior scribe, Scott puts Allison's initials on the bookshelf where all high school seniors put their initials as a school tradition. While everyone has put the initials of the packmates long gone, such as Vernon Boyd and Erica Reyes, everyone behind him realizes the sentiment, as it's Scott's way of honoring her.

  • Gender: Female

  • Eye Color: Dark Brown
  • Height: 5'8"
  • Skin Color: Fair

Personality[]

Allison is a very loyal, independent, and strong-willed woman. After she first moved to Beacon Hills and was trapped in the high school by Peter Hale, she expressed her embarrassment and frustration at how weak and powerless she felt to her aunt Kate before vowing to dedicate herself to becoming more powerful. ("Co-Captain") From then on, Allison was determined to learn everything that her father could teach her about being a Hunter so that she could always feel confident in her ability to take care of herself. ("Lunar Ellipse") Allison was the epitome of a perfectionist, as she was prone to starting new hobbies often, only to abandon them shortly afterward when she could not immediately master them to her high standards, such as poetry, photography, and painting. ("Magic Bullet")

Because of her attachment to her family and friends, Allison can be easily manipulated, as seen through her relationships with Kate and Gerard. Both her aunt and her grandfather tried turning her into a ruthless hunter like them. After Kate showed her what happened to Lydia the night Peter Hale attacked her, Allison saw her beaten and bruised, making it easier for Kate to convince her to hunt down Scott and Derek. However, Allison realizes her aunt and grandfather's true colors when Kate tells her to kill Derek and Scott (despite Allison's attempts to capture them) and Gerard when she learns he was manipulating events to become a werewolf himself despite having a hatred towards the supernatural.

In the second season, Allison finds herself struggling with her loyalty toward Scott and her family. She grows to form a rivalry with Erica Reyes, especially when Allison sees her flirting with her boyfriend. She has, on various occasions, wanted to go to her dad with the Kanima problems because, in her mind, they are just teenagers and don't know what they are doing. She finally tells Chris the truth in "Raving" after feeling an amount of guilt in preventing the Kanima's attacks. After Gerard later exploited Allison this way when her mother, Victoria, committed suicide after being bitten by Derek, Allison became a lot like Kate. She became emotionless, cold, and eventually arrogant and uncaring. Up to the point where she started shooting Boyd and Erica just because they were part of Derek's pack.

After losing her aunt and mother and having been manipulated by Gerard, Allison becomes haunted by the choices she made and the things she said. Unlike her aunt and grandfather, Allison is not above admitting that she was wrong. After she matures throughout the summer, Allison appears to still maintain a friendship with Scott and the rest of the pack. When she returns to Beacon Hills after living in France, Allison realizes the errors of her ways and does whatever she can to aid Scott and the rest of her friends. However, she is still put at odds with Derek Hale, who still treats Allison like an enemy. It is also likely that Allison is remorseful for what she did to both Erica and Boyd during her tenure as a ruthless hunter, as she reacts with horror upon finding Erica's body. In her breakdown with Noah Stilinski, Allison admits she isn't as fearless as everyone else thinks she is. Instead, she regrets her break up with Scott, and is unsure of her relationship with Isaac Lahey or Derek Hale and what will happen with Stiles. Noah Stilinski was very empathetic with Allison and comforted her afterward.

Deep down, Allison protects the innocents and will not hesitate to protect her town or her loved ones if they are in danger.

Trivia[]

  • Allison was somewhat of a minor villain in the second season of the show because Gerard continued to manipulate her after her mother's death. However, her dark arc was brief and she continued helping Scott and his friends until her death. In the film, she once again has a dark arc but is redeemed because of the love of Scott, Chris and the rest of her friends.
  • Despite everything, Allison is very similar to her ancestor Marie-Jeanne. Not only were they doppelgangers, but both Allison and Marie-Jeanne were headstrong young women who wielded a bow and used their skills to protect the town and people they love.
  • Had Crystal Reed not left the show, Scott would have been Allison and turned her into his first beta werewolf. The fourth season would have been about her reigniting her relationship with Scott and adjusting to life as both a werewolf and a Huntress. In the final cut of the film continuation, the Scott / Allison pairing is indeed endgame.
  • Allison has had only two real romantic relationships in the series: Scott McCall and Isaac Lahey. It is also heavily implied that she had a romantic attraction towards her friend Jackson Whittemore and that Matt Daehler has a stalker crush on her.
  • Allison served as the deuteragonist for the first three seasons and the feature film and the overarching protagonist of Seasons 4 and 5.
