Alfredo Linguini is the deuteragonist of the 2007 Disney Pixar animated movie Ratatouille. He is the best friend of Remy and the longlost son of Auguste Gusteau and his ex-girlfriend, the late Renata Linguini. In the film, he is a horrible cook who forms an alliance with the rat, Remy, who dreams of becoming one himself. Puppeteering the human, Linguini learns to appreciate the rat, eventually becoming his best friend.
