Trivia[]
Similar in the 1993 film by Disney, both versions of D'Artagnan are left fatherless and seek vengeance on the person responsible for their fathers' deaths. In both cases, they are both right-hand men of the Cardinal who are killed by D'Artagnan in self-defense.
In the book, Alexandre (named just Old D'Artagnan) was a former Musketeer who had friendly ties with Captain Treville, both coming from Gascony.
