Alan Grant is one of the main protagonists of the Jurassic Park film series, serving as the main protagonist of Jurassic Park and Jurassic Park III and one of the protagonists of the 2022 film Jurassic World: Dominion.

He is a paleontologist who is invited to Jurassic Park by John Hammond and has been involved with an adventure encountering dinosaurs.

Alan was portrayed by actor Sam Neill, who also portrayed Merlin in the 1998 mini-series.
