~ Aja's catchphrase |
“ | My name is Aja Tarron of House Tarron, and I want to tell you a story. It's a good story. It is very lively, with lots of humors and excitements: It begins someplace very, very, very far from here, on an entirely different planet called Akiridion-5. My brother and I were forced to leave our home. We are not like you, but we are like you... and you welcomed us, and your world became our world. We made many, many friends. And together, we embarked on adventures we'll never forget. | „ |
~ Aja to a crowd of students |
Queen Aja Tarron is one of main protagonists of the Tales of Arcadia franchise. She appears as a minor character in Part Three of Trollhunters, the main protagonist of 3Below, and a main character in the finale film, Trollhunters: Rise of the Titans. She is the queen of Akiridion-5, daughter of King Fialkov and Queen Coranda, best friends with Mary Wang and Darci Scott, and the girlfriend of Steve Palchuck and older sister of Krel Tarron.
Background[]
Personality[]
As a young woman, Aja didn't feel ice she belonged in the royal life, even ditching her own coronation day, and running away with Luug. However, she took up responsibility after Morando led a coup and overthrew her and her family. This motivated her to becoming a fierce warrior, not too dissimilar from her mother.
At first missing her family and appreciating the humans on Earth, Aja eventually accepted Arcadia Oaks as her second home, and has developed great love for her friends, family, and people. Aja's greatest fear is that Akirdion-5 and Earth will both be lost in a civil war between each other. She is also more of a free spirit compared to her brother, amazed by Earth's customs, technologies, and adventures. She is also romantic, having fallen in love with Steve Palchuk.
Despite her bubbly personality, Aja is a force to be reckoned with as she will do anything to protect her family while also being overconfident and reckless. She is also angered to learn from Zadra that it was Varvatos Vex who had betrayed the royal family and allowed General Morando to attack the Earth. Despite this, Aja was the first to forgive Vex more so than her brother, Krel did but he would eventually forgive Vex for this betrayal. During their time on Earth, Vex became a fatherly figure for the two, even acknowleding them as his family. After Vex was seemingly killed by Morando, she grew upset and cried that she commanded him not to die.
However, to some people, Aja could be hot-tempered, impatient, and reckless. This is best seen when she rushed into danger when she saw Porgon the Lesser reckoning havoc. However, her friends like Jim and Varvatos have called her out on her actions and told her that patience is the warrior's first lesson. She later became hot-tempered again when she chased after an alien that fed off electrical currents. However, at the end of the lessons, Aja realizes that she must be more patient and less fierce.
