Airk Tanthalos is one of the main characters of the 2022 Disney+ web series Willow. He is the prince of Tir Asleen, the son of Madmartigan and Sorsha, the older twin brother of Kit Tanthalos, and the grandson of Queen Bavmorda. He was named after Airk Thaughbaer, Madmartigan's best friend, who was killed during the battle of Nockmaar Castle.

Airk is infamous for being a womanizer, like his father, but falls in love with the servant girl Dove. On the eve of his sister's wedding, Airk is abducted by a group of villainous creatures known as the Gales. A quest to rescue Airk is initiated by his sister and a group of five other heroes.

Biography[]

Personality[]

Airk, in terms of personality, is very similar to Madmartigan when he first met Willow in the original film. Airk is known to be a womanizer, even when he developed romantic feelings for Dove, the kitchen maid, As he has seen flirting with other noble women at the engagement party. His sister, Kit, sees Airk and Dove laying in the field and knows their relationship with her as a fling. She tells her brother that he will eventually forget about her and brag her heart. Kit is further convinced when Airk only knows the maid's nickname and not her real name. However, he is unaware of her identity as Elora Danan, the infant his father and mother swore to protect
