History[]
Personality[]
When Flash was younger, he used to be arrogant, self-absorbed and mostly stubborn. He used to relentlessly bully Peter Parker and Harry Osborn. However, after getting a taste of his own medicine, Flash tries to be better. Despite his potential for intelligence, Flash is sometimes too lazy to realize his true potential. Most of his bad attitude comes from a poor upbringing. He is also too prideful enough to not even take the bus, even refusing to do so when Spider-Man told him to. Despite being one of the most popular boys in school, he picks on people due to his parents never being around and coming from a rather small house that is literally a gas station. After moving on from Parker and bullying a young boy, Alex, Flash realizes his bullying attitude has to stop because his bullying drove the boy enough to take a HYDRA serum and turn into a Rhino mutate. Since learning humility, Flash wishes to become a hero like Spider-Man and forms a symbiotic relationship with the symbiote he bonded with.
Relationship with Peter Parker[]
Flash used to bully Peter in high school, often stuffing him in the locker or taking his homework. However, rwhen Peter is Spider-Man, Flash idolizes his secret identity and strives to be a hero like him. After becoming Venom, Peter admitted he trusted Flash but not Venom. However, after they formed a symbiotic relationship and assisted in fighting beetle, Spider-Man recruited Flash into being a part of the New Warriors and a SHIELD recruit after convincing Nick Fury not to lock Flash up.
Despite his initial shock at learning Peter was Spider-Man in "Contest of Champions," Flash has fully accepted Peter as a friend, forming a brotherly relationship with the latter. However, he was jealous of Peter's friendship with Harry Osborn after making it clear he wants to be Peter's best friend. As Peter continued to boast about Harry, he unknowingly made Flash feel inferior to the former. However, they have made amends since Peter apologized for the way he was making Flash feel. Flash also does not take Scarlet Spider's betrayal lightly, mostly due to how Much he hurt Parker
