Adrianna Tomaz is one of the three deuteragonists (alongside Hawkman and Doctor Fate) of the 2022 DC Extended Universe film Black Adam. She is a professor at Kahndaqi University and a freedom fighter leading the resistance in Kahndaq.

Adrianna Tomaz is an intelligent woman who used to be a history professor at school. She is fairly resourceful when it comes to fighting or knowledge, as she was able to understand both English and her Kahndaqi. She also cares for her son Amon, as she wants to teach him patience and forbids Adam from talking about the crown of Sabbac. As a mother, Adrianna wants him to learn about the values of patience and never solve problems with violence. She also risked anything to save her child when he was abducted by Ishmael Gregor and his allies. She also harbors hatred towards Intergang, who have oppressed her people for nearly two decades.
Adrianna is also not afraid to speak her mind regardless of what person she is dealing with. She begs Adam to help her save her country and calls the Justice Society when they did not come to stop Intergang because her people have been oppressed by them for nearly two decades. She also felt extreme guilt and remorse for Being unable to save Amon until Kent Nelson told her not to. Adriana can also act as a voice of reason, which is how she convinced both Adam and the Justice Society about working together to save her son.
Powers and Abilities[]
- Expert Combatant: In the prequel comic, Adrianna managed to successfully fight off Intergang gang soldiers by stealing the backpack that contained a sacred totem. She was able to dodge Jumbo's punches as well. She later displayed her fighting skills by kicking and hitting intergang soldiers while searching for her kidnapped son. However, Teth-Adam stopped her. During the final battle, she used her fighting skills to fight off the Legions of Hell.
- Stealth: On her robbery, Adrianna was able to enter and escape a restricted area of intergang's cargo ships and the Intergang soldiers in the University.
- Genius Level Intellect: Adrianna is a former history professor and has a vast knowledge of her country's history. It manifested in her abilities as a vigilante.
- Expert Thief: She has skills in pickpocketing similar to Cassandra Cain. She also took Karim's truck keyes without him noticing and stole the backpack containing a sacred totem from Intergang's hands.
- Bilingualism: Adrianna is fluent in English and ancient Kahndaqi, managing to read the ancient language's writing.
