Background[]
Early Life[]
Aanya was born in the kingdom of Duren, which was once a bountiful and amazing home. Unfortunately, the kingdom suffered a seven-year famine, forcing Aanya's mothers to seek help from King Harrow. They stole the heart of a magma Titan that Lord Viren needed to replenish Duren's lands. Even though they managed to kill the Magma Titan, during the Kings' and Queens' return to the kingdom, they encountered the dragon Avizandum, who was protecting the border. Unfortunately Aanya lost her mothers during the battle, leaving the young princess an Orphan and a queen at a young age. soon, Sarai perished as well.
In her youth, she shares some form of history with Princes Ezran and Callum, who knew her well enough to write a profile of her in his spell book. He seemed to empathize with her because both of them lost their mothers[1] and Callum understands that Aanya was a strong leader.
Despite having a regent in her place until she came of age, Aanya dismissed her regent and took over her kingdom at age eleven. Many thought she was unfit to rule due to our young age and many assassination attempts were made on the young queen. However, Aanya managed to survive them all.

After Viren told the kings and queens about the deaths of Queen Sarai, Queen Neha and Annika, he proclaimed that with all their horses combined, they could defeat the "threats" they faced from their rivals, the Xadians. However, Aanya refused to agree with Viren's plans because she would not want countless lives to be lost, including her own men. As a result, the other rulers rejected Viren's offer and he vowed that they would regret for not heed his warnings that humanity was on the brink of extinction.

Personality[]
Most people usually had their doubts of Aanya due to her young age; This desire was so strong that some people were even willing to kill her, but she managed to survive every attempt. People like Viren believed child rulers to be inexperienced and unwilling to do what needed to be done. However, Aanya proved him wrong.
Despite her young age Aanya was wise and benevolent, knowing that going to war with Xadia would be an unnecessary. She remembered that countless lives were the lost in the battle against the Dragon King ten years ago, including her mothers and King Harrow's wife, Sarai. She feared that sending more troops in to Xadia would pointless cost more lives and as such, she disagreed with Lord Viren's plan to declare war on their enemies. However, Aanya changed her mind about entering Xadia by going to the Spire and help Team Zym, especially after learning that the dragon princess existence could mean there would be an ended this terrible war between Xadia and the human kingdoms.
